WHERE CAREERS TAKE FLIGHT

In our aviation degree programs, you’ll learn flight fundamentals from CAU's instructors on our own fleet. We know you’re ready to fly. With CAU, you can enter fast-paced, structured year-round courses, meaning you can graduate in about three years.

As a student in degree programs at CAU, you’ll become proficient in the areas of understanding federal regulations, weather, aerodynamics, crew resource management principles, and various aviation topics including modern aircraft technology.

Along with earning an aviation degree, students also earn up to six certificates and ratings, including private, instrument, commercial-single, certified flight instructor, commercial-multi-engine, and certified flight instructor instrument. Students can complete the program, including degree and certifications, in about 3 years.

The bachelor's degree is a 1,000 hour R-ATP program which provides crucial time-saving benefits to eligible students, including a reduction in the required flight hours and minimum age eligibility towards a R-ATP.

  • Duration: 3 years (approximately)

  • 188 quarter credits

The Bachelors in Aeronautics degree program is the most comprehensive pilot program at CAU. From day one, students begin developing fundamentally sound skills through standardized, fast-paced lessons. Students can begin flying in the first term and graduate in just over 3 years. Graduates of this program are guaranteed an interview for a flight instructor position and CAU and there are several direct pathways to airline cadet programs through the University's partnerships.
