DESCRIPTION:As one of the largest military air shows in the United States\, the Miramar Air Show features a full-weekend of military demonstration teams\, civilian aerial performances\, immersive experiences\, static aircraft displays\, and more! General admissions is free. \nCAU’s partner in aviation\, Vicky Benzing will join the aerial performance line-up at the Miramar Air Show with her thrilling P-51 Mustang demonstration. The iconic purple Mustang\, transitioning from a WWII military fighter to the 1970 National Air Race Champion\, boasts a remarkable legacy and a dedicated following nationwide. With very few warbirds still flying in the United States\, and even fewer flown by a female aerobatic pilot\, air show patrons at Truckee can look forward to witnessing a true piece of history. \nThe University outreach team will have a booth at the Air Show to share knowledge and resources about the aviation industry – available career paths\, how to research aviation universities and flight schools\, and how the University’s pilot degree programs can help aspiring aviators achieve their career goals.
