California Aeronautical University (CAU), located on Meadows International Airport, was selected out of many aviation universities across the United States to become a Top Hawk University. The University’s selection was in large part due to CAU students who managed the application process, including a video application. https://youtu.be/jKJ_uu5okZg
The new aircraft will significantly impact the University’s efforts in promoting aviation right here in Kern County, as well as across the country. As the looming pilot shortage calls for more qualified pilots, the Top Hawk aircraft will help CAU education youth about aviation careers, support flight training, and university recruiting efforts.
