Jayden Castro
Captain for Apollo MedFlight
Guidance from Jayden
"Don't get stuck. You may have to scale back on pay or take a loss, but make sure you keep moving forward. In the end it will all work out as long as you keep flying and gaining experience. Even if the economy is tough, this is a great profession as long as you stick with it and go where the opportunities are. Also, make friends; don't make enemies."

Steps to Success
I graduated and built my hours working as a CFI, got to 1200 hours for my 135 minimums and I started working for a freight company. After starting this position, I was able to gain a lot of hardcore instrument training in the PNW. It was a grueling position, but I broadened my spectrum greatly during that time. I diversified my experience through increased Turbine PIC time, which led me to my current position at Apollo MedFlight.
Future Goals
My goal is to skirt the regionals and move directly to the majors in the near future.
