Piedmont Airlines
Cadet Program
Piedmont Airlines’ Cadet Program provides guidance and financial assistance as pilots progress from cadet to first officer. Cadets can apply with 500 hours and, if accepted, receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to industry events. Piedmont pays for the ATP-CTP course and FAA testing, including hotel accommodations and ground transportation.
Upon completion of the ATP-CTP course and FAA exam, cadets are placed into the next available new hire class at Piedmont with no additional interview required. The program supports progression toward opportunities with American Airlines.
Participants must have their commercial multi-engine with instrument rating to apply to the program.
