Cadet Program

Piedmont Airlines's flexible Cadet Program pays to build time. Cadets can interview with just 400 hours and earn $30,000 in bonuses as they work toward Airport Transport Pilot Certificate Training Program (ATP/R-ATP) minimums. Piedmont cadets also receive mentorship, promotional materials, and invitations to Cadet events that can set them up to become a better pilot.

Upon completion of the ATP-CTP course and exam, cadets will be placed into the next available new hire class at Piedmont, with no additional interview required. Through a seniority-based flow through program, pilots at Piedmont graduate to guaranteed jobs at American Airlines, the largest airline in the world.

Participants must have their commercial multi-engine with instrument rating to apply to the program.
