California Aeronautical University (CAU) invites high school classes to visit our main campus in Bakersfield, California, for a one-of-a-kind aviation and STEM field trip.

This on-campus experience is designed to spark curiosity, introduce students to exciting career paths, and provide a hands-on look at the world of aviation.

    Why Visit CAU?

    Whether your students dream of becoming pilots, mechanics, or want to explore STEM fields in an engaging setting, a field trip to CAU offers real-world insight and inspiration. Our campus is located on Meadows Airport in Bakersfield, California offering a dynamic learning environment surrounded by aviation activity.

    Cost 

    The cost to reserve a CAU Field Trip is $10 per student.  

    Eligibility 

    Due to capacity constraints, we are able to accommodate a maximum of 60 total guests per visit, including students, teachers, and chaperones. Schools are required to provide at least one chaperone for every 15–20 students to help ensure a safe and organized visit.

    To ensure a high-quality experience for all visitors, CAU field trips are limited to high school student groups only.
