If you're looking for more flexibility in your aviation training, CAU's Flight Centers can make earning your aviation degree more convenient than ever.

For those not able to take advantage of the immersive aviation environment of CAU’s main campus, the Flight Centers enable aspiring aviators to stay local while still achieving their dream of flying professionally.

California Aeronautical University’s Flight Centers provide Southern California residents the opportunity to earn their aviation degree right from their hometown. Students can pursue their degree online while receiving flight instruction at their local Flight Center, currently located at Oxnard Airport (KOXR) and Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport (KMYF).

Convenient Locations

CAU’s Flight Centers are conveniently located in Ventura and San Diego Counties. All flight instruction is delivered by CAU faculty on the University’s fleet of aircraft.

Accelerated Programs

With fast-paced, structured courses that are offered year-round, students can earn their bachelor's degree and six certificates/ratings in about three years.

Financial Aid

The University offers financial aid to those who qualify, including grants, loans, and scholarships. CAU also accepts veteran educational benefits from eligible students.

Direct Pathway to Airline Cadet Programs

CAU has partnered with several regional airlines to create opportunities for their aviation students, many of which include a direct pathway to the airline’s cadet program.

  • 221 flight hours (min), 111 quarter credits
  • Eligible for 250-hour reduction when seeking ATP certification
