Horizon Air Cadet Program
Pilot Development Program
The Pilot Development Program at Horizon Air is geared toward pilot students who attend one of their partner schools, like California Aeronautical University, and are interested in a career with Horizon Air. The Pilot Development Program offers training, mentorship, and a defined path to starting a career with Horizon Air.
After completing the program and meeting all qualifications, you’ll be assigned a class date with Horizon Air and on a streamlined path to mainline flying at Alaska Airlines.
Participants must have their private pilot certificate with first-class medical certificate to apply to the program. Pilots sign an agreement to work for Horizon Air for a minimum of two years after reaching ATP minimums.
