CAU SAN DIEGO

UNIVERSITY STRENGTH, LOCAL CONVENIENCE

Located at Montgomery-Gibbs Airport, students can study online and fly locally out of San Diego. You have access to CAU’s certified flight instructors and the CAU fleet of aircraft, including Cessna 172s and Beechcraft Barons. All instruction is delivered by CAU, with no courses or flight instruction contracted to a third party.

FINANCIAL AID & GI BILL®

The University offers financial aid, scholarships, and VA educational benefits, including the GI Bill, to those who qualify.

FAA PART 141 APPROVAL

CAU San Diego is FAA Part 141 approved. This approval allows CAU graduates to qualify for a restricted ATP, which includes a 250-500 flight-hour reduction and reduces the minimum age to earn their ATP certificate from 23 to 21. This can allow CAU grads to enter the pipeline for aviation careers much quicker than other candidates.

DIRECT PATHWAY TO AIRLINE CADET PROGRAMS

Through the University’s strong partnerships with airlines, influential aviation organizations, and leaders in the aviation community, CAU graduates become a part of a larger aviation network and reap the benefits of these relationships, including direct access to several airline cadet programs.
