FLIGHT TRAINING CERTIFICATES AND RATINGS
Earn your degree at California Aeronautical University while progressing through the FAA certificates and ratings needed for a commercial pilot career.
How CAU's Flight Training Program Works
At California Aeronautical University, students in the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics program earn a university degree while completing flight training. Rather than attending a stand-alone flight school, students complete academic coursework and flight training together in one structured program.
Students begin flight training in their first term and work toward six FAA certificates and ratings that prepare them for a commercial pilot career.
Your Path to a Commercial Pilot Career
Each certificate and rating builds on the previous one, helping students progress from their first flight lesson through advanced commercial flight training.
